Why even are you?

I’ve been around the block. Worked in all sorts, from professional Premier League Football Team, PlayStation, non-profits, a bonkers start up and gaming companies. I’ve seen a bit.

Why subscribe?

I am sad that I don’t share as much as I used to. On Twitter, back in the day, I used to share *literally* thousands of links and things I’d read or found interesting. Now, not so much.

So I am not writing a newsletter.

But I am going to share links that I used to Tweet, I think weekly, but perhaps more often. A shoutout to my team who get all these links on Slack anyway. No need for you to subscribe, other than honour.

So, what am I going to share?

Well, I work in games, so probably some games stuff, but not too much. Social media, influencer and community marketing, yes 100%. Digital culture, yes. Odd TikTok stuff? If I can find it, you’ll see it. Leadership? Yes, I’ll do my best there too. Web 3 and the Meta…well, you’ll have to see about that, but probably. Perhaps the odd commentary of what I think is going on in digital too. Football will be at the very, very minimum..

So if you’ve followed me for a while on Twitter and been thinking wow, he got so dull as he tweeted about Spurs for the 100th time that match day, this Substack is for you.

Subscribe to Stuff I Used To Tweet

I used to share loads of links on Twitter about social media, community, digital culture and gaming. Now, not so much. So here is a *weekly-ish* newsletter of the things I read and why I find it interesting.
